Story
I'm supporting Centrepoint, the UKs leading youth homelessness charity. They work to help young people to move on positively from homelessness through mental and physical health support, in addition to giving them the tools required through education and employability training to move on to live independent lives. Their model focuses on sustainable futures for the young people they support, this means working with them to help them into a job and a home, rather than just providing temporary shelter. They work with more than 14,000 homeless 16-25 year olds every year, and despite arriving at Centrepoint with some of the most turbulent backgrounds imaginable, 88% of young people leave Centrepoint with a positive outcome having taken the first steps towards a successful, independent future.
