Although we never imagined we would ever be doing this again, we have been so inspired by Shelter's great work and the vital services they provide that once more we are donning our running gear to complete the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon.

Training for last year's marathon was as challenging as you would expect with many hours of gruelling runs starting in the depths of winter; often when still dark, icy cold and pretty flipping bleak. What motivated us to keep going then, as now, was knowing that the money we would be raising for Shelter would contribute to their quest to end the housing crisis and help improve the lives of the millions of people who are trying to get by without a safe place to call home.

The London Marathon is a huge challenge but so is the fight against this housing emergency. "Home is everything" and so we are privileged to be joining in the fight for home by fundraising for Shelter once again.

The more people that know about Shelter the greater the impact will be. Please spread the word by sharing our page far and wide, with your friends, family, colleagues and as many people as you can reach.

Our deepest thanks go out to all of you who supported us last year and we thank you in advance for any kind donations you are able to make this year - we promise this really will be our last marathon!!
