National 3 Peaks Challenge, 22 June 2024
We fundraise to support Wallace Kennels to relieve suffering & distress of animals

Story

On June 22nd I will be attempting the National 3 Peaks Challenge. This challenge will involve me climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours.

As a huge dog lover it’s only right that I fundraise for a small and local dog charity who do amazing work to help reduce and rehome stray dogs.

Friends of Wallace Kennels (‘FOWK’) is the charity which supports Wallace Kennels Dog Rescue in Stondon Massey, Brentwood, Essex. which are in need of care and attention by reason of ill-treatment, abandonment, injury or sickness.

Wallace Kennels are the stray dog pound for dogs which are in need of care and attention by reason of ill-treatment, abandonment, injury or sickness. The kennels operate in the Boroughs of Brentwood and Chelmsford and will occasionally take over-flow dogs from other areas as and when needed. We also take in unwanted and abandoned dogs for rehabilitation and rehoming once ready from the general public.

The kennel is totally reliant on donations from the public and the work of their fantastic volunteers.
