Thank you so so much for helping with our fundraising efforts for Firefly International!!

Firefly is a small Edinburgh-based charity which supports children whose lives have been affected by war.

Bases have been set up in Bosnia, Turkey and Gaza, with the latter currently being under significant pressure due to the ongoing conflict there. Firefly works with local projects and organisations to provide safe spaces for children to interact with one another without conflict and hostility. These children are often of multiple religions and nationalities, creating an inclusive environment that does not see these differences as a reason for conflict.

I (Rosie) am currently volunteering as one of the social media interns for the charity and Charlotte and I would therefore love to raise some money in order to further aid the amazing work that Firefly do. I will also hopefully travel out to the Bosnian base later in the year to see the positive impacts that these efforts have on the children there and further raise awareness by sharing the work of Firefly on their social media.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will motivate us even more for all 26.2 miles!!
