On Sunday 24th of September 2023 I will be running the Berlin Marathon in support of Chain of Hope and Abbott’s Little Heroes Program.

I’m a keen runner, and have previously completed a few marathons, including the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon in Cape Town. I have always wanted to complete one of the World Marathon Majors and feel so privileged to finally have the chance to do it and support such great causes!

I work as a Therapy Specialist for Structural Heart devices at Abbott since April 2022. Working for Abbott and providing support during procedures for adults and children with congenital heart defects is incredibly rewarding, and I hope that by raising funds during the marathon it will provide help to even more children who don’t have access to these necessary treatments.
