I'm thrilled to swim the English Channel with Aspire Team Jaguars. On August 18 our 6-person team will swim 21 miles from England to France in roughly 15 hours. The water will be cold and no wetsuits are allowed. We will swim in the dark and through the busiest shipping channel in the world.

I will swim to celebrate my 70th birthday and to raise money for Aspire.

Aspire is dedicated to removing the physical obstacles, economic barriers and social prejudice that divide disabled and non-disabled people, and achieving a world where people with Spinal Cord Injury have an equal place in society. I have met Aspire staff and the people they work with, and am proud to raise money to support their work. Please contribute generously!
