We provide life-enhancing support to the UK's fire & rescue community.

Story

Wayne dedicated more than 31 years to fire and rescue - 27 of them with London Fire Brigade, and a further four with West Midlands Fire Service where he became Chief Fire Officer.

The very nature of the work of fire and rescue services meant that Wayne recognised the vital importance of providing good health and wellbeing services to his staff, their families and to the wider emergency community.

Using his influence, both within the service and via his social media channels, Wayne regularly promoted health and wellbeing campaigns, including the work of The Fire Fighters Charity. It supports the health and wellbeing of all those who work or volunteer for the sector, and their loved ones.

Wayne's family believe that donating to The Fire Fighters Charity - a cause he held dear - is a fitting tribute to him.
