Great North Run 2024
Campaign by Myeloma UK (RCN SC026116)
Our incredible Myeloma UK team will be running 13.1 miles to help make myeloma history.

Story

MyelomaUk, is the only dedicated charity which supports every stage of Myeloma and funds vital Myeloma research.

Cerys’ Uncle David was diagnosed with Myeloma in January 2O23 and started receiving chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant.

In March 2024 David relapsed and at this time we decided to run the Great North run to support David and many others as well as to raise awareness.

Heartbreakingly David lost his battle to this dreadful disease on the 26th May 2024 so we are now running in David’s memory, without doubt he would want his family to continue to fundraise for Myeloma.

Any support would be greatly appreciated- thank you.
