According to Feeding America, in 2021, 5.5 million seniors aged 60+ faced hunger. Sadly, they are regularly challenged with an impossible choice – to buy food or pay for medical care. Food insecurity takes a severe toll on seniors’ health and nutrition and can increase disease risk or worsen existing related conditions.
