Hi everyone,

As I prepare to run the Valencia Marathon on 1st December 2024, my mind is on more than just the race ahead. The recent catastrophic flooding in the area has deeply affected the local community, causing devastating loss of homes and lives. Despite these challenges, the marathon has been confirmed to go ahead, and I am inspired to turn this moment into an opportunity to help those in need.

That’s why I’ve chosen to fundraise for All Hands and Hearts, a remarkable charity known for its 'Smart Response' approach. They not only respond to disasters but also focus on recovery, resilience, and long-term renewal. By rebuilding safe, resilient infrastructure, they create lasting change for those affected by crises like this.

I’m truly grateful for the chance to participate in this marathon and even more grateful for your support in making a difference. My goal is to raise £500 to help those impacted by the floods rebuild their lives. Together, we can show the strength of compassion and solidarity in the face of adversity.
