Story
Clece Care Services (CCS) is a Supporter Member of The Care Worker's Charity (CWC), a remarkable organisation dedicated to the aid of health and social care workers across the UK.
This partnership highlights our groups’ commitment to the well-being of our 7,000 colleagues across the United Kingdom.
To celebrate Professional Care Workers' Week and the wonderful work of the CWC, CCS invite all staff and service users to wear something orange e.g. headband, socks, top, or go all out in a head-to-toe orange outfit, on the 17th September and donate whatever you can to this special cause.
What is Professional Care Workers’ Week?
Join us for Professional Care Workers’ Week (PCWW) 2024, hosted by The Care Workers Charity! Celebrating its seventh year, this event honours the essential contributions of care workers and aims to elevate their profile across the UK.
From September 16th to 20th, PCWW will feature a series of virtual panels and information sessions led by care workers, care managers, and leading figures in Adult Social Care. These sessions are entirely free and accessible from anywhere, ensuring broad participation.
About The Care Worker's Charity:
The CWC stands out as the only national charity exclusively supporting health and social care workers. Through our membership, colleagues are provided with a lifeline during times of hardship through mental health support, training, and financial crisis grants. These grants are a boon for those facing unexpected financial burdens, and they do not require repayment, ensuring peace of mind for our colleagues.
We'd like to thank our regional teams and partners for joining this Group Team to highlight our collective impact for this fantastic cause.
