Story
Daniel Rotchell and Ellie Lester-Thompson are taking on the challenge of running the Shakespeare Half Marathon on Sunday 21st April to raise money for Mind.
For over 60 years, Mind has worked to improve the lives of people with mental health problems by encouraging communication, challenging legislation and offering support.
Last year alone, their mental health information was accessed 23.3 million times and 3 million people had a conversation about mental health as a result of Time to Talk Day.
Local Minds supported almost 470,000 people and 1.3 million were supported through workplace wellbeing programmes.
Relying heavily on donations, they spend 83p in every pound supporting people with mental health problems. The rest goes towards running the organisation, including generating funds and planning for the future.
Your donation, big or small, is very gratefully received and will make those long training runs worth it!
