Story
In memory of my Dad, myself and Eli and any other family or friends that would like to join us, will be walking from Hillsborough Stadium, Sheffield to The Nabb Inn, Hucknall across two days in early May 2024 to raise £1000 for The British Heart Foundation and raise awareness of the importance of learning CPR.
My Dad was from Sheffield and supported Sheffield Wednesday and he met my mum, Joy Coulson, by participating in a charity bed push from Hucknall to Hillsborough Stadium after the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989. So this walk will commemorate him in several ways.
My Dad also suffered with a couple of heart conditions and unfortunately passed away due to them.
In addition to this walk, I would like to raise awareness regarding the importance of learning CPR. I’m a Level 3 First Aider and on both the days of the passing of my Grandpa and my Dad, I had to conduct CPR in attempt to save them. You really never know when you may need it and I hope that nobody I know ever has to need it. But please read about it, go on a First Aid Course or anything - I cannot stress its importance to learn. With all of my Dad’s health conditions towards the end, there were several things that I had to do for him that I’d only have been able to do through my knowledge from the course.

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
