Story
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
In 2020, during COVID, I challenged myself to walk 50km to raise much needed funds for Alzheimer’s Society. With the help and support of the best family and friends, it has grown each year.
This charity is very close to our hearts as we watched our beautiful mummy/wife Briege battle with this terrible disease every day. Unfortunately in May 2022, we were all with our beautiful Angel when she passed away, our hearts forever broken😔.
This year, we will be joined by The McArdle family, lifelong neighbours and friends who are going through the same journey we did. They watch every day as this terrible disease takes away another bit of their mummy/wife Anne😢.
The route will be the same as last year, with plenty of loops around Killeavy Gac. We would like our friends and families to come out and support us on Saturday 7th September, starting at 6am, as we raise these much needed funds. Thankyou.
