It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Catherine Johnson (Catriona Morrison, Cathie Taylor, Mrs. Mukherjee) announces her passing on Wednesday, the 20th of December 2023, at the age of 81.

Catriona passed away peacefully surrounded by family under the impeccable and respectful care of the Coronary Care Unit staff at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 30 years, Stuart; her daughters Sheila and Anita; her nephew Neil and her nieces Sheena and Mairi Anne as well as many more family and friends.

Amongst other places, Catriona will be fondly remembered by those who knew her from her work at Plockton High School Hostel and Plockton Music School, St. Andrew's Hospital School of Nursing in London, and Maclay Hall in Glasgow.

The funeral service will be held at Clachan Church in Applecross, IV54 8ND at 11am on Friday the 29th of December. All are welcome to attend. Family Flowers Only.

Donations can be made to the Highland Health Board Endowment Fund to benefit Cancer Services and the Coronary Care Unit at Raigmore Hospital. Sheila & Anita are full of gratitude to the exemplary staff at the Coronary Care Unit for ensuring Catriona's last days were comfortable and surrounded by love and care.
