I lost my Dad to Motor Neurone Disease 4 years ago and I understand what a cruel and heartbreaking disease this is. Over the last year I have been volunteering by campaigning to raise awareness and attending the West Yorkshire branch get togethers to help support other people living with MND. There are around 200 people living with MND in West Yorkshire alone. I have seen the difference that the amazing people from the MND Association make in supporting people and their families.

My local pub, The Horse and Jockey at Horbury Bridge, are running a charity event. This is an event organised by the pub team, Dave and my friends who want to make this a successful evening. I am so grateful to everyone.

On Saturday 30th November, we are holding a Pub Quiz, Raffle and Auction at The Horse and Jockey Pub to raise money in support of The West Yorkshire Branch of the MNDA. It would be great to see you there but if you can’t make it you could help us reach our target by buying raffle tickets or donating here.

The West Yorkshire Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) is dedicated to providing help to people in West Yorkshire who are living with motor neurone disease (MND) and also offers support to their families and carers. Your donation will ensure that we can continue to do this.

The branch also supports the Association’s research into this terrible disease and other aspects of it’s work to benefit people living with MND.
