Story

We are running a half marathon in memory of our wonderful mother & grandmother, Catherine Pinney.

Raising funds for the MND Association: Oxford Care Centre, who supported our family through her long, painful journey with MND, with such kindness and hope.

We want to pay tribute to the outstanding care provided by the clinical team at the JR, notably Nurse Consultant Rachael Marsden, Professor Martin Turner and Professor Kevin Talbot. They always tried to understand my mother's wishes and supported us all. They exemplify person-centred care.

If you would like to sponsor us, JustGiving will send your money directly to the MND Association, earmarked for the Oxford Care Centre.

Thank you very much.
