Story
I have been presented with the opportunity this year to experience one of the most exciting physical challenges in the United States - climbing Mt. Rainier (14,410 ft). To make it happen, I will need to fundraise $3800 for Washington National Park Fund's Climb for a Cause.
Immersing myself in the natural world has proven to be the most effective tool in reminding me to be present, intentional, and eternally grateful for the one life we are all given. Hiking and climbing, the rhythm of putting one foot in front of the other and pushing through discomfort, empowers me and reminds me that there is so much out there bigger (and more important) than us. As a new resident of Washington, I welcome the chance to get uncomfortable and climb high in this beautiful state.
The Climb for a Cause partnership between WNPF and some of WA's largest companies drives awareness for the impactful work WNPF is accomplishing to keep WA's 3 National Parks accessible, safe, and inclusive for the ~5 million visitors who experience them each year. Please join me in giving back to these magnificent places and help make a lasting difference. A donation of any amount is appreciated. Not only will it help me to accomplish something big and audacious, but it will support keeping these national parks around and safe for future generations.

A dedicated team of climbers is joining forces to raise funds for Washington's national parks. The culmination of our fundraising efforts will be a thrilling 3-day summit attempt of Mount Rainier (Tahoma) in the summer of 2024. The proceeds raised from this initiative will contribute to search and rescue operations in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
In partnership with world-class IMG, WNPF is orchestrating a unique fundraising climb of Mount Rainier (Tahoma), providing a rare opportunity for park enthusiasts to strive for the summit of this iconic peak in Mount Rainier National Park.
Be a part of turning this incredible dream into reality by supporting my climb with a donation! Your contribution will not only help me achieve something extraordinary but also create lasting memories while aiding the preservation of Washington's spectacular national parks.
