The idea is simple: find your weirdest, wackiest wrong trousers to donate for the right to look wrong.

Story

A charity close to our family and friends , sadly Marcus , my partner ( Ian) son , Alexs partner in crime/step brother as they would call each other was diagnosed with Acute myeloid Leukaemia in February of this year , he has since and still is a patient on the cancer ward at Bristol’s children’s Hospital where he has endured many days and hours of intrusive treatments to help with this devastating illness. Marcus has been an absolute trooper and despite many set backs he continues to fight and stay strong and not let AML defeat him.

Through out his stay he has been given the best possible care that we could ask for, they have Marcus’s and every other child’s best interest at heart , from the nurses , therapists , drs , they all care and the support families are given is second to none .

Please help us raise money for this amazing hospital ❤️ and wear those wrong trousers on June 21st 2024

Thank you

Cath, Ian , Alex and Lily xx

From helping staff, patients or their families, The Grand Appeal puts Bristol Children's Hospital at the heart of everything they do.

They support the hospital through:

Family accommodation: they run three accommodation houses that provide a safe and supportive place for families to stay while their child is in hospital.

Medical research: they invest in medical research programmes to ensure the hospital remains a hub of innovation, where everyday experts pave the way for sick children through a network of projects with international impact.

Equipment: they fund state-of-the-art equipment to save lives.

Music, play and art therapy: their music, play and arts programme can be seen in every ward at Bristol Children's Hospital, helping young children to deal with the stresses and fears they may face during treatment.

Art enhancements: they work to make sure Bristol Children's Hospital provides a fun, stimulating and comforting space for the brave children it cares for.
