Hi everyone! 

I am going to be running the Great North Run on the 10th September in memory of my lovely Mum, Susan Laing who we sadly lost in 2016.

I am raising money for St Cuthbert's Hospice who cared for both my family and mum in her last few weeks of life. Still to this day, we are so grateful for their support, love and unbelievable care in what was the worst time of our lives. They allowed us to create memories to last a lifetime and without them this wouldn’t have been possible.

St Cuthbert’s Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and the bereaved. They make no charge for their services, ensuring Hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running. Like any charity, St Cuthbert's Hospice need as much money as they can to be able to offer their fantastic service to other families like mine.

Remember, you never know when you might need their help and support, just like my family, we never thought this would happen to us.
