Story

In 2024 I an undertaking a couple of challenges to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.

In June I will be taking part in London2Paris for the 6th consecutive year and in August 2024, I will be one of the first amateur riders to ride The Route, which will see a team of 10 female amateur cyclists, take on the world’s most iconic cycling challenge by riding all stages of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFAZ) route, just one day ahead of the professionals.

Cure Leukaemia is a charity dear to my heart as I have experienced firsthand the devastating effects blood cancer has on its victims, their families, friends, and colleagues.

During the 7 days of the Tour, it's anticipated that over 720 people in the UK will be diagnosed with Leukaemia (1 person every 14 minutes).

Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses & clinical roles at 15 blood cancer centres across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, access to pioneering and potentially lifesaving treatments. In addition, Cure Leukaemia nurses play a vital role in supporting patients and their families before, during, and after treatment.
