Ben was more than just a dog; he was a beloved member of our family. With his wagging tail, boundless energy, and unwavering loyalty, he brought joy and warmth into our lives every single day. But Ben's journey was not an easy one.

From a young age, he struggled with a multitude of medical issues that made each day a challenge. Despite these obstacles, Ben's resilience and spirit never wavered. Thanks to the exceptional care he received from the Vets around the country, he lived a life full of love, adventure, and happiness, far beyond what anyone expected.

In memory of Ben and in gratitude to the Veterinary profession, I am taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. This iconic race will take me through the heart of London, past some of the city's most historic and beautiful landmarks. As I run each mile, I will carry Ben's spirit with me, remembering the strength and determination he showed throughout his life.

The RVC's charity, the Animal Care Trust fund new hospital equipment, life-saving research and support the next generation of veterinary professionals. Every donation helps improve animal care. Together, we can make it possible for more pets to return home to their loving families.
