Story
2 years ago, after losing Phil, Amy and I walked 50-miles in one day to raise vital funds for Get the Boys a Lift.
Last year, Amy and I decided to push ourselves even further (& drag Emily with us!) and took on the National 3 Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Yr Wyddfa in just over 22 hours and 27 minutes.
It only seems right to continue to push my mental & physical strength by taking on another challenge (or two!). This year I will be taking on not one, but two ultramarathons:
⛰️ Wild West Ultra- 40 miles in one day- 15 June 2024.
⛰️ WhyWeRun- 250km over 5 days- September 2024.
By taking on these outrageous challenges, my aim is to make a difference and be able to give back. This year I would like to raise awareness and funds for Big Moose- a mental health charity who strive to help people with their mental health, prevent suicide and reduce homelessness through therapy and early intervention.
This isn't just about physical endurance; it's about supporting those who struggle with mental health issues every day. Your support and contributions mean the world to me as I strive to make a difference & remember those we have lost.
Please follow my ultramarathon journey and, if you can help me reach my fundraising goal, any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated
