Story

Will and I are going to be running the London Marathon 2025 in memory of our beautiful and brave mum, Brenda Andrews, who died in June 2023. We also want to raise as much money as we possibly can for the excellent charity, Rennie Grove Peace Hospice who looked after mum so well.

Mum's only wish, other than to not have to die, was to be able to stay in her home with her family. Without the support of Rennie Grove Peace, providing nurses and carers round the clock, this would not have been possible.

The access to this amazing organisation was invaluable and essential to negotiating the most difficult of life's passages, and it truly made all of the difference to us, as it does every day to many others.

Rennie Grove Peace is a charity reliant on donations to continue their work. They need £24,000 a day to meet their running costs and 2/3 of this comes from people like us fundraising. Please do spare what you can not only to help us cross the finish line, but to help this special organisation continue this invaluable work.
