Fundraising for Doctors in Distress, a charity that supports the mental health of healthcare workers across the UK.

In England, a doctor kills themselves every 3 weeks. Female doctors have up to four times the risk of suicide compared to the general public. The statistics show that doctors kill themselves at a higher rate than the general population as they feel unsupported and isolated.

Doctors in Distress is committed to reducing the prevalence of burnout and suicide among doctors in the UK. The charity is determined to reduce stigma around mental health, change behaviours and cultures in the medical profession and promote the value of good leadership, using safe spaces and therapeutic groups to support doctors.

Doctors in Distress works to reduce stigma in the medical profession around mental health. Providing facilitated support groups for all medical professionals to prevent the worsening of issues related to mental health.
