Story
Imagine a world with limited vision. Being unable to walk to the shops unaided or relying on someone else to check your online banking.
Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) gives people the confidence to continue living their lives as independently as they can. Sight loss doesn't mean that someone is completely blind. There are many different eye conditions and varying degrees of what someone can see. That's why the support KAB provides is tailored to the needs of each person.
Some people need help with long cane training, so that they can navigate their local community on their own. Some people want to stay connected to the world by learning new technologies that can magnify or read out text. And some people need to feel less lonely, which is why KAB's volunteer befrienders and social groups are so popular.
Your donation will have a BIG difference on the lives of the visually impaired. Thank you.
