Story

My dear Dad spent the last four weeks of his life in the wonderful St Wilfrid’s Hospice. He received such amazing care and love from all the staff. As a family we were always welcome to visit and felt so supported…a huge thank you to all the amazing staff at St Wilfrid’s. We would love to raise as much money as possible to help fund all they do to help other families.

Daisy and I will be walking, Izzy and Josh would have loved to join us but they are in the middle of A levels and GCSE’s. Daisy has recently badly sprained her ankle but is determined to still do the walk to raise money in memory of Grandpa.

Dad always loved the ‘The Bare Necessities’ song from the Jungle Book and it makes us all smile so seemed a fun name for our team!
