Story
Dear Family and Friends,
Raj and I are embarking on a journey: running the London Marathon in support of the amazing charity, Sense.
As many of you know, our son Matt's life was filled with complexities and communication challenges. Reflecting on Matt's journey, we recognise how immensely he could have benefited from the remarkable work of Sense.
Sense's dedication to supporting individuals like Matt, and, particularly their commitment to promoting physical activity for those with complex disability, resonates deeply with us. We've experienced firsthand the barriers that can hinder participation, and we're inspired by Sense's efforts to overcome them.
Join us in supporting Sense as we run for Matt, for all the individuals facing similar challenges, and for a future where everyone has the opportunity to engage fully in physical activity.
Sense is a national Charity that supports people who are deafblind and those with complex disabilities, to be understood, connected and valued.
They are there for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Together we can unlock barriers to communication so no one is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.
Thank you for helping us reach our London Marathon goal.
Carrie and Raj
