Are you a brave, thrill-seeker? Would you enjoy the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds, from over 10,000 feet in a tandem skydive?

Story

last year in October I was given the devastating news that I had stage 2 breast cancer and needed surgery and radiotherapy.

One week later my surgery was carried out and 2 weeks later I was told the cancer had all been removed.

Unfortunately whilst waiting for my radiotherapy, my wound opened up with a bad infection.

My radiotherapy was postponed and still is until my wound heals.

I consider myself very lucky as if I hadn’t been 50 last year and called for a routine mammogram, I would maybe still not know and things could have been a lot different for me. There is a large number of women who do not go for there mammograms in this country, and it is important part of women’s health

I am doing this sky dive and telling my story to hopefully encourage more women to have their mammograms and to raise some money for further research.

I have had amazing support from my family and friends, also the breast unit at pilgrim hospital Boston. I cannot thank them all enough.

Please please dig deep my friends and thank you for reading my story
