Story
As well all know, cancer does not discriminate; it knows no age, gender or ethnicity.
Cancer is a journey; a walk we embark on with others. We have all walked many paths with those we love and have loved. Some paths, sadly, have come to an end. Others stretch out infront of us. Each path we walk comes with its own twists and turns, some that we continue to venture down and others that we are beginning to embark upon. With each step there is always hope that these paths can lead to new beginnings, recovery and an appreciation of the ups and downs of life.
On Sunday December 10, Kate and I will be taking part in Santa Dash 2023. Our small walk - although it is meant to be a run! - is to help raise funds for the continued research and provision of support to patients and families at the fantastic Beatson Cancer Centre; services our family has been the direct recipient of.
Given everyone's concerns at present with the cost of living, we would be incredibly grateful of any donations - great and small - to assist us in reaching our target of £500. Thank you.
