Story
For this year our Bracken Ghyll Club captains have chosen the Sue Ryder “Manorlands” hospice in Oxenhope near Keighley.
To raise funds for this very worthy cause, a group of 8 of us will undertake a 72 hole golfing challenge at the club on Wednesday 28th June. It will be an early start with sunrise around 4.30am and hopefully finishing early evening. We will all walk around 16 miles whilst trying to play golf at the same time!
Manorlands hospice provides support for people who are living with a terminal illness, a neurological condition or who have lost someone - and are there when it matters most. Their influencing team works towards a future where their palliative, neurological and bereavement care and support reaches more communities and where everyone can access the quality of care they need and deserve. It costs £13,000 per day to keep the hospice running.
Bracken Ghyll is proud to be supporting this local charity which has a link with some of our club members. All donations, no matter how big or small, will be greatly received.
Each team member has set up their own Just Giving page and will be part of a team consolidated on the Bracken Ghyll Manorlands page.
Please donate to whichever team member you choose and I thank you in advance for your very kind donation.
