Help Me #StepUpforMiscarriage this January
Tony and I are proud parents to three beautiful earth side children
However we have been pregnant five times.
Baby 1 ☀️ our sunshine baby who was such an amazing and easy pregnancy, I do feel so blessed to have experienced this
Baby 2 👼 we lost our second baby in May 2019, a second trimester loss and very long and traumatic miscarriage. Our beautiful baby was due December 2019
Baby 3 🌈 our lockdown baby! Beautiful little boy. This pregnancy was not easy, especially after everything we’d been through before this and then having to attend every scan and every appointment on your own with the anxiety that you would hear those five words, “I’m sorry, there’s no heartbeat”. We feel so blessed that we have him after everything.
Baby 4 👼 We experienced our second miscarriage in November 2023 at 7 weeks and received so much support from others without which I don’t how we’d have made it through those difficult and long days.
Baby 5 🌈 sat here cuddling our recent addition who, after a very complicated and difficult pregnancy, arrived safely and perfectly into this world.
This January, I’m taking on the Miscarriage Association’s #StepUpforMiscarriage challenge by pledging to walk 250,000 steps – one step for each of the 250,000 pregnancies estimated to end in miscarriage, molar, or ectopic pregnancy in the UK every year.
I’m proud to be part of Team M.A, raising awareness about pregnancy loss, sharing the vital support services the charity offers, and raising funds to ensure they can continue to be there for those who need them most.
Every donation helps the Miscarriage Association support people through the hardest of times, providing comfort, guidance, and a knowledge for those affected by pregnancy loss.
Thank you for helping me #StepUpForMiscarriage
