Mick's Heroes has been set up under the umbrella of national charity Brain Tumour Research to raise awareness & more importantly to improve outcomes for brain tumour patients and ultimately find a cure. In memory of Mick Bradley who passed in 2023.

Story

On 28th June I will be completing the ‘Peak District Ultra Challenge’ I will be completing the full challenge which involves a continuous 100km (60miles) walk/hike around the Peak District.

I have decided to join up with Mick’s Heroes (a very close friend of mine, her sister and Mum) who continue throughout each year to raise money for Brain Tumour Research after sadly losing their Dad/Husband in 2023 xxx

I am raising money in memory of Mick Bradley, who was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma and after a courageous fight, lost his battle in September 2023.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
