Story

On Sunday 7th April 2024, Michael “Mike” Davidson passed away in Roxburghe House, Aberdeen, following a short battle with oesophageal cancer. Mike was one of life’s good ones, eternally kind and thoughtful, and his biggest passions in life were his Harley Davidson and his family. He was the most wonderful son, brother, uncle and great-uncle “GUM” we could ever have hoped for. We are so incredible proud of the fight he put up to stay with us, and be forever grateful for every moment we had with him.

In the last 12 days of Mike’s life, he and our family were blown away by the care and attention provided by Roxburghe House. In his memory, Mike’s sister Angie, niece Carla and nephew Ben are walking 18 miles in the Kilt Walk, travelling from Bellfield Park, Banchory, to Duthie Park, Aberdeen. Any sponsorship or donations to this walk in Mike’s name will go to this wonderful cause, Friends of Roxburghe House Grampian, so more families can be fortunate enough to receive their support in their darkest days.

Thank you ❤️
