Snowdonia for Science 2025 · 31 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Snowdonia for Science was founded in 2006 by an inspiring individual who had prostate cancer. This person wanted to bring like-minded people together to raise funds and take on a unique challenge. Although prostate cancer sadly took their life, their legacy lives on through this inspiring event.
On 31st May 2025, I am excited to take on the incredible challenge of reaching the summit of Snowdon. I will be taking less frequently walked paths on this famous mountain with the hope of covering multiple peaks including Moel Elio, Foel Gron, Foel Goch and Moel Cynghorion, before the grand finale of Yr Wydda, Snowdon itself, all the while knowing that each step I take is a step towards raising vital funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer Research.
This often late diagnosed cancer needs more research and funding to ensure that men of a younger age are routinely screened. This way this disease might eventually become rarely fatel.
I invite you to donate towards my challenge today. Together, we can conquer Snowdon and transform the lives of those affected by prostate cancer. Join me in our mission to see a world free from the impact of this disease. My target is to raise £360 towards the team Ingestre Park Golf Clubs target of £1500 for this important cause, and with your support, we can make a significant difference.
