Event: London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024, on 7 April 2024
In memory of Joanna Brace
Taking in London’s most iconic landmarks and the city’s quirky and hidden secrets, you’ll get to explore the capital on route like no other and help us go further, faster for everyone affected by a brain tumour.

Story

My beautiful sister Joanna Brace recently passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday 28th 2024 after a long and almost victorious battle against brain cancer. She is the longest known survivor to many medical experts, which is no surprise to me as my sister was always the over achiever since we were kids. In her memory I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon this Sunday 7th April, and in doing so I am raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they are moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

The Brain Tumour Charity are set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change, and they are doing it right now, because they understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.

My sister wanted everyone to have access to the best possible care for Brain Cancer, please help me raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity to try and do that.

From the bottom of my heart I thankyou for any donations you may make.

Carl ❤️
