Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Carers Plus Yorkshire are a local charity that support unpaid carers aged 8 and above and those 18+ in the wider community.

Some of the staff and friends/family of the organisation are taking part in a Charity walk at Scafell Pike (Standing at 978 metres tall, Scafell Pike is England's highest mountain and war memorial)

The walk will take place on 18th May and any donations for CPY would be greatly appreciated to raise funds to support the unpaid carers and other adults that may need it through the Home from Hospital service and other wider community support.

It is also an opportunity to raise awareness for Carers and the support they provider to the people they care for.

'According to polling in 2023, nearly three quarters of people (73 per cent) who currently provide unpaid care, or have provided care in the past, have never identified as or called themselves a carer.'
