Lia’s Wings is the only aeroplane ambulance charity available to babies and critically ill children in the UK.  

Since 2010 Lia's Wings has provided vital air transfers for babies and children who are critically ill, helping them access life-changing and life-saving care. 

When families need urgent expert care whilst far away from home – often in dramatic, and unexpected circumstances - they are the organization that people turn to.

Their beneficiaries include extremely premature babies; toddlers needing specialist treatments and transplants; children needing surgeries or diagnoses only available from specialist hospitals; teenagers undergoing rehabilitation after traumatic injuries, and even children in need of palliative care closer to home.

Their service is often described as "a miracle".
