ADHD support and understanding of the condition is woefully inadequate.

We lose too many lives as a result of not fully understanding the condition. The more we can do to help those with ADHD, and their families, the better.

ADHD UK are a charity who understand the challenges faced by individuals with ADHD or ADD, as well as the impact it has on those around them. Their mission is to provide warm-hearted support, offer quality and relatable information, raise awareness and empathy through advocacy, and fight for fair NHS & Education resources. They are also dedicated to challenging employers to create an inclusive environment for individuals with ADHD/ADD.

On May 4th, 2025, I will be participating in the Newcastle-Gateshead Marathon to raise funds for the cause. My goal is to raise £500 to further our efforts in helping individuals find their unique way and thrive. Join me in making a difference for those affected by ADHD/ADD.

This will be my first ever marathon. Nervous is a understatement!
