Story
Welcome to our fundraising page for Sightsavers charity! We are the Cantel team and we are embarking on a challenging journey to raise awareness and funds for a great cause.
On May 15th – 16th, we will be cycling down the scenic canal route from Liverpool to Leeds, covering a distance of 127 miles over 2 days. It's going to be a tough but rewarding journey, and we are doing it all for Sightsavers, an international development organisation.
Sightsavers works across Africa and Asia to end avoidable blindness, treat and eliminate neglected tropical diseases, and promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities.
The event will raise awareness and funds for Sightsavers, to support its vision of a world of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes and people with disabilities participate equally in society.
"We are thrilled to organise this charity bike ride in support of Sightsavers, and we hope to raise a significant amount of awareness and money for their cause. We believe that access to eye health services is a basic human right, and we are proud to support Sightsavers in their efforts to reduce avoidable blindness globally." Richard Cusworth, Commercial Director at Cantel Support.
By supporting Sightsavers, you can help make a real difference to people's lives. Your donation will help provide essential eye care services, support research and innovation, and raise awareness about the importance of eye health.
We would be so grateful for your support on our cycling challenge. Whether you can donate a little or a lot, every penny counts and will go towards helping Sightsavers continue their vital work.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page and for supporting our journey. Together, we can make a difference and help bring about a world where everyone has access to eye care and the opportunity to live a full and independent life.
