We are fundraising for The Big Space Cancer Appeal!

Skydive · 20 July 2025
On the 20th July 2025, members of the Cancer Services Pharmacy Team will be taking part in a charity skydive, to raise funds for The Big Space Cancer Appeal. This will be a tandem skydive, with a 125mph freefall from 12,000 feet(!). We wish to make a difference to the lives of those who need it most, in their fight against cancer.
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a designated Regional Cancer Centre and has provided specialist cancer care for people in our community for more than 60 years. Many of the current facilities are over 25 years old and a new modern building is needed to care for future generations. The aim of The Big Space Cancer Appeal is to build a bigger, brighter home for cancer care in Gloucestershire. It will involve building a new space at Cheltenham General Hospital and upgrading the existing facilities in the current Oncology Centre to improve the environment for patients and staff.
All of your generous donations bring us closer to providing patients and their families with the very best environment for treatment, healing and recovery. 100% of money raised will be going directly to the appeal, so we are very grateful for all contributions
