Celebrating 70 Years of Community, Care, and Opportunity – Support Our Future
For 70 years, Camphill Village Trust has been at the heart of providing life-enhancing opportunities and support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health problems. From our beginnings in Botton Village to our vibrant communities across the UK, we’ve been committed to helping people thrive in safe, inclusive environments where they can live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we’re looking to the future. Our CEO, Sara Thakkar, alongside Directors Claire Twaites and Sally Watts, recently completed their Mount Kilimanjaro challenge, marking the start of our journey to raise £70,000 in honour of 70 years of Camphill Village Trust. Inspired by their efforts, our communities and team members are already considering how they too can get involved with creative challenges to support this goal. With your help, we can ensure that the support we provide today will continue for another 70 years.
Why Your Support Matters
Your donation helps fund innovative, person-centred programmes like our Green Care activities and Co-production activities, which enable the people we support to build confidence, gain skills, and engage in meaningful, creative work. Through activities like working on the land, growing produce, and creating artwork, individuals in our communities connect with nature, express themselves, and learn new skills.
Your Impact on Our Future
By supporting us, you’ll help us expand our Green Care initiatives that will allow our communities to thrive in the years to come. Your donation supports adults with learning disabilities to lead a life of opportunity, independence, purpose, and belonging.
Join Us in Shaping the Next 70 Years
