Story

On the 14 June 2025 a group of the Queen’s 1991 Ashbourne Cup winners will hike the Mournes in memory of our beautiful team mate Delia. She showed huge resilience as she dealt with her cancer diagnosis, receiving such kind and compassionate support from Marie Curie. Her determination to live for her family has provided us with the inspiration to stay positive and strong in the face of adversity.

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.

£26 helps help fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.

£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
