TCS London Marathon 2025
Campaign by Cardiac Risk in the Young (RCN 1050845, SC052581)
The London Marathon is London's most popular sporting event with over 40,000 people taking part.

Story

Two years ago my cousin passed away unexpectedly due to a cardiac event that could have been prevented with the right knowledge. In memory of my cousin, Amy Smith and I participating in the London Marathon, which is now less than 6 weeks away (on 27th April). I’m running on behalf of a charity called Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) , which conducts screenings for young adults(14-35) to detect potential heart abnormalities early and prevent sudden cardiac events.

This is in memory of Mia Jennings

I would be incredibly grateful if any of you could support them and my marathon by sponsoring my run.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
