Story

Dear all,

My name is Cam and I am supporting The Multiple Sclerosis Trust because of my Mum. In 2018 my Mum passed away, she spent her last few years dealing with MS and I want to support this charity in her memory.

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic disease that is unpredictable. It is when your immune system mistakenly attacks the brain and nerves. It can effect balance, mobility and vision. MS can be treated but not cured and it is still unclear why it happens. In the UK, over 130,000 people live with MS.

Me and my close friends and family are going to attempt a 9.3 mile walk from Radstock into Bath in fancy dress. We will attempt this on the 24th of October and if anyone would like to join us then please get in touch.

Mum is always on my mind, it has been 5 years since she left us and I miss her every day. She is the screensaver on my phone and many people have commented on how alike we are, she will always be with me. I wish she was here and I have promised myself that I will live my life to the fullest and make her proud. With further research, there could be better treatments found for MS and possibly even a cure. The MS Trust needs funds to help scientists and researchers to be able to find other options.

Thanks in advance for your support

Cam
