🌟 **Support My Journey: Running the London Marathon 2025 for Look UK!** 🌟

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am thrilled to share that I will be participating in the London Marathon 2025! As my sight has deteriorated since I last ran a marathon in 2017, I will be running with a sighted guide to help me on the way, which I have never done before. I have retinitis pigmentosa (RP) so I am night blind and, unusually for RP, have worse central vision so the winter training will be particularly challenging. This isn't just a personal challenge, but a mission to raise awareness and funds for a cause incredibly close to my heart, Look UK.

Look UK is a remarkable charity dedicated to empowering visually impaired young people and their families to thrive. As someone who is registered blind, I understand the challenges and obstacles faced daily by people with a visual impairment. Look UK has been a beacon of support, providing essential services, mentoring programs, and a vibrant community that fosters independence and confidence.

**My Journey with Look UK:**

I have the honour of volunteering as a mentor for Look UK, guiding and supporting young individuals through their journeys. Witnessing their growth and resilience has been profoundly inspiring, and it motivates me to give back even more. Running this marathon is a way for me to push my limits and make a tangible difference in their lives.
