I am taking on the challenge of doing a Tommy 10k and fundraising for a cause truly close to my heart. With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can lifelong care and support to veterans from every service and conflict, their families, and those with disabilities.

I am going to be riding a 1943 Parabike for 10k. The bicycle is a folding BSA which was used in World War Two. The Paras would drop with the bikes and they were used in Normandy and Arnhem. They are a bit of a death trap as the brakes are awful. My circuit has a steep downhill section, so I may need to use the soles of my Ammo boots.

A few pounds can quickly mount up and help fund things like PTSD treatment for a person in need, a day out for an elderly veteran, a help line for vulnerable people, a safe roof over head, access to work and support getting back to civvi street.
