WHEN?

The event takes place at Gracie Barra Chelmsford on the 20th April 2024 from 12pm until 12pm on Sunday 21st April 2024.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This Grapplethon is a 24 hour non-stop charity sparring challenge open to all members (adults and kids) of Gracie Barra Chelmsford and Gracie Barra Maldon.

Simply, there must be at least one sparring pair on the mat at any time during the 24 hours. Individuals can set themselves challenges as to how long they will spar for and choose timeslots within the 24 hours when they will be rolling.

RAISING MONEY FOR FARLEIGH HOSPICE

We hope that, as a community, we will be able to raise as much money as we can for our local charity Farleigh Hospice through individual sponsorships.

Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity (no. 284670) which provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex.

They help patients to live as actively as possible from the point of diagnosis to the end of their life, by providing physical and emotional care, free of charge.

With approximately 40% of their yearly running costs being funded by the local NHS, they rely on the support and goodwill of the local mid Essex community to contribute to the £21,271 it costs to provide their services each day.
