The ‘Cala North Walk 1875’ is a sponsored walk between each of Cala’s developments in Aberdeen, in 5 separate stages, starting at Murtle Den Park at Oldfold Village and finishing at Craibstone Estate South. The ‘walk and talk’ event, which we’re running in conjunction with our charity partner, Samaritans, has been created to raise awareness of mental health issues in construction, and aims to encourage people to open up and talk to others.

The walk will take place on Friday 30th June 2023 and will culminate in a celebration event at Craibstone Estate South to welcome all participants as they cross the finish line. Participants include Cala employees, Cala subcontractor partners and suppliers. They will be invited to ‘walk and talk’ between Cala’s developments with the overall distance from start to finish totalling approximately 18.75km.

To secure your entry to this fantastic event, an entry fee of £25.00 is required which must be donated via our Just Giving page at the point of registration - please state in your donation that it is an entry fee. We ask that each participant makes aims to raise at least £100.00 of sponsorship, with all funds raised being donated to Samaritans.
