We fund medical research to end bowel cancer and bowel disease

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mum had a condition called Familiar Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). This effected her life drastically over the years and sadly passed away of May 2021. FAP is simply a rare inherited cancer predisposition syndrome characterised by hundreds to thousands of precancerous colorectal polyps.

My mums 51st birthday is coming up on the 15th of October. My mums only wish before she passed was that more research was put into this rare condition. She wanted her own body to go to science for this research to maybe help others who have this condition to get answers and the treatment they deserve, but this was unable to happen. Unfortunately her illness was passed down to my two brothers and my little nephew. I think of the young life my nephew has and how special life is, that maybe he will have more answers and get the best treatment he can as he grows up, when more research is put into this awful condition. Life is too short!

So it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate just a small amount for my mothers birthday coming up. I know she would really appreciate it herself.

Thank you!! 💕
